The Mission of PACE-TV is to:

  • Encourage senior citizens to use public access as a format to disseminate valuable information and to train them in the technical aspects of television.

  • Produce quality television shows for public access broadcast which are educational, entertaining and of general interest to the viewing public.

PACE-TV show topics cover a wide range of subjects, such as San Diego's sister cities; the challenges of world peace; Chinese art; aging; volunteer opportunities in San Diego; jazz history; preventing violence in our communities; developing healthy relationships.  PACE-TV also serves the public by bringing information about local agencies that are available to all San Diegans for the betterment of their lives.

Our efforts and high standards have been recognized by Channel 7/39, as well as city and local newspapers.  What makes PACE-TV unique is that in a youth-oriented industry, we provide a perspective that can only come from mature adults who have prevailed over the obstacles inevitably found along the journey of life.
